The fashion hype continues with the upcoming Paris Ready to Wear Fashion Week from 28 February to 8 March, 2017. French chic will reveal itself in all of its incarnations as the top designers in France, and some international names, take to the runways in the French capital to show us what to wear for Fall/Winter 2017.

Paris Ready to Wear Fashion Week kicks off with famous American designer Vera Wang receiving the Légion d’Honneur Award on the first day. In light of this honor, which is the highest French order for military and civil merits and was initially established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, the internationally acclaimed designer will unveil her Fall 2017 ready-to-wear collection in Paris. It’s believed the show will not be in the traditional ‘runway show’ format; instead it will be in the form of a short film paying tribute to the City of Lights.

Another American designer who is moving to the Paris runways is Rodarte – sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy will be showcasing their label’s designs by private appointment only.
