Luxury brand Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is set to open a new property on the outskirts of the Moroccan capital of Marrakesh. This latest addition to Fairmont’s exclusive portfolio of hotels around the world is located near Marrakech, nestling in a 100-year-old olive grove with the Atlas Mountains as its backdrop. Here, guests enjoy a romantic desert vacation in exquisite natural surroundings with every luxury laid on.
Fairmont’s hotels are legendary, and include icons such as The Savoy in London, as well as numerous lavish establishments in the Middle East and Africa. The Fairmont Royal Palm combines luxurious accommodation with world-class leisure, excellent dining and golf.
The resort offers 134 guestrooms including five presidential suites, a penthouse suite and 10 Prince Villas. There are also 94 private residences comprising two, three and four-bedroom luxury villas. Fairmont Royal Palm features excellent resort facilities including an 18-hole golf course created by acclaimed architect Cabell B Robinson.
Dining options are many, as the hotel offers three excellent restaurants, including Le Caravane, a terrace restaurant serving international dishes and L’Olivier, a Mediterranean restaurant that overlooks the hotel swimming pool, which is heated and ozonized and the largest of its kind in Morocco. There’s also a traditional Moroccan restaurant called Al Ain, and Le Bar, where guests can relax with a drink and enjoy the private cigar bar.
Guests can also enjoy a state-of-the-art spa that has a special private area for women, plus the newly opened Golf Country Club that features a lounge, restaurants, health club and pool. The hotel is also located close to the famous Assoufid Golf Club, which won acclaim at the 2016 World Golf Awards in Morocco.
Fairmont will also open two other properties in Morocco by 2020. They include Fairmont Taghabzout Bay, a 155-room luxury property that overlooks the bay of the same name, and also features 52 villas, and Fairmont Rabat-sale, a luxurious 200-room hotel located on the Bou Regreg River, close to some of Morocco’s famous heritage sites.
