From Friday 13th right through to Sunday the 15th February NYC’s two basketball teams, the Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks are hosting the much-anticipated 2015 NBA All-Star Game. The game will be played at Madison Square Garden, the home arena of the New York Knicks. The last All Star game to be played at this venue was in 1988 – prior to that the Knicks’ previous home, the third Madison Square Garden, hosted three All-Star games.

On Valentine’s Day, February 14th, activities will be held at Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Nets’ home arena. The last time they hosted an All-Star Game was in 1982, at Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

If you’re not in town, you can watch full coverage of the weekend on TNT. The program Inside the NBA will feature Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson and there will be a series of talk-show appearances, too: Kenny Smith teams up with Seth Meyers, and Shaquille O’Neal with Kelly and Michael.  Special events include an All-Star fashion show on Saturday night, which will feature All-Stars James Harden, Klay Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins competing against each other. Entitled NBA All-Star All-Style, the hour-long show will be taped inside the Hammerstein Theater and will air at 18h30 on Saturday on TNT. Eight players will compete, dressing for the boardroom, a night out and the game.
