From 27-29 March, the second round of the 2015 Formula One World Championship takes place in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. Baroque Lifestyle has all the details…

Round two of the 2015 Formula One World Championship takes place this weekend – we’re talking about the Malaysian Grand Prix, currently being held at the Sepang International Circuit just outside Kuala Lumpur. Synonymous with speed and excitement, Sepang International Circuit is abuzz this weekend. On Friday 27th and Saturday 28th March, practice and qualifying sessions are taking place, and the highlight, the big race is tomorrow, Sunday March 29th. The circuit is technically demanding and with a location so close to the lively city of Kuala Lumpur, Formula One is a very popular race to come and see.

One thing that is totally unavoidable is the heat, with temperatures often higher than 122 degrees Fahrenheit (50 degrees Centigrade). Humidity is expected to be at 75 percent on Sunday, and with the heat and the rough track with its numerous fast corners, we’re in for a very exciting race.

Friday’s practice session saw Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes AMG come out as the fastest, with promising performances by Kimi Räikkönen of Ferrari and Hamilton’s team-mate Nico Rosberg, who came third. Although Fernando Alonso was on the track, which was a highlight in itself, he kept back, at 16th fastest in his McLaren.

It will be interesting to see how Saturday pans out – and then, of course, there’s the highlight, the big race on Sunday.
