From 27 to 29 November, Abu Dhabi will be hosting the only Formula 1 twilight race in the world, the 2015 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This is the largest international sporting event to be held in Abu Dhabi and it draws crowds from all over the world to come and enjoy the final race of the 2015 Grand Prix Season.

This iconic event is located at Yas Marina Circuit, which offers a spectacular waterfront setting to rival that found in both Monaco and Singapore. The circuit is also home to the Yas Viceroy Hotel and offers a 60-meter solar-powered Shams Tower and pit lane, with a view of the cars exiting via a tunnel that passes under the track.

Of course, the Grand Prix race is just part of the spectacular! Off-track  entertainment abounds, and Abu Dhabi offers its most glamorous side, with exciting live concerts featuring international performing artists of the caliber of Jaz Z, Beyoncé, Aerosmith, Linkin Park, and Paul McCartney. There’s also a host of VIP parties for the stars of Formula 1.

Yas Island, on the eastern side of Abu Dhabi, is not only home to the Yas Marina Circuit. It also boasts a number of luxury five-star hotels as well as the famous Ferrari Theme Park. But the track itself is quite unique, as it runs alongside the island’s beautiful marina. Further afield, visitors can enjoy the city’s numerous attractions. Abu Dhabi is the largest and wealthiest of the seven United Arab Emirates, and has retained its local traditions, making it a charming, fascinating place to explore.
