Following the successful 2015 men’s Fashion Week in NYC comes this year’s NYFW, which was originally scheduled for 28 to 31 January has been postponed for a few days and now takes place between 1 and 4 February so as not to conflict with Paris Men’s Fashion Week ends on 30 January.
Because of a date change, the CFDA, who organize the event, also had to change the venue from SkylightClarkson Square to Skylight Clarkson North, a brand new loft-styled space situated just one block away. Around 60 designers are expected to show their garments at this year’s 2016 Fall/Winter menswear shows, including many who were featured in 2015. Although many of the events are reserved for media and buyers only, there is enough for the rest of us to enjoy, too.
