The landmark Breakers Palm Beach is legendary for its luxury and comfort. And now it has created a luxury boutique hotel section especially for super rich

Two hotels in one? You’d better believe it! At the Breakers Palm Beach, the legendary luxe offering wasn’t enough. So now regulars with surnames such as Rockefeller, Vanderbilt and the like, not to mention European nobility, Presidents and celebrities have their own very special place in the hotel. Called The Flagler Club, it offers an exclusive level of luxury not seen in many hotels anywhere in the world.

Palm Beach has long been the haunt of the well-heeled, and the Breakers specifically. Since 1926 the rich and famous have been spending their holidays at this grand hotel and enjoying the facilities of this very popular jet set location.

In the Roaring Twenties, the price of power and luxe was a hefty $4 per night. Of course, almost a century later, it costs way more than that for an all-inclusive package that includes accommodation, three meals a day and a variety of facilities not to mention stunning sea views from your sumptuous guest room.

The Breakers is still ever-popular to this day, and in keeping with the times, the hotel is now offering another level of luxury altogether. From the moment they arrive and drive down the imposing driveway lined with palm trees, and check into the elegant, spacious main lobby lined with murals and Florentine fountains, time stands still.

You can feel the time-honored exclusivity surrounding you. With two 18-hole championship golf courses, a state-of-the-art spa, four swimming pools and five whirlpool spas, not to mention 10 tennis courts and 11 boutiques on site, you really do have every possible sumptuous facility at your fingertips.

There are 10 dining and drinking options, including a Twenties style restaurant and lounge called HMF, a traditional steakhouse called the Surf Break and a gazebo on the beach offering exotic cocktails.

And now for the new offering: since October 2015, The Breakers has offered a secret hotel within the existing establishment that offers an unmatched level of luxury. Created after research into what a guest would enjoy if money was no object, The Flagler Club (named after the founder of the hotel, Henry Morrison Flagler), which cost more than $5 million, is a best-kept secret, two floors within the hotel that have been transformed into an exclusive hideaway. This ultra-luxury Club offers 25 guest rooms, a spacious club lounge with its own terrace and breathtaking views. Designed by Adam Tihany, who created the magical interiors of the Beverly Hills Hotel and the One&Only Cape Town, in coordination with Peacock + Lewis architects, The Flagler Club is a superlative offering, modern, sleek and extremely exclusive.

Guests enjoy an unsurpassed experience at the Club, including a personal Tesla to take you wherever you want to go, a list of questions sent to you before you arrive so that you will have everything you wish during your stay, ultra luxurious beds and linen, a complimentary fridge packed with your favourite and anything you else you may desire. In the private lounge you’ll find complimentary snacks, breakfast and luxury drinks (Moet & Chandon, Macallan 18, and so on). Of course, service is extremely personalized and guests’ every wish is granted.

Yes, staying here comes with a price – three times what you’ll pay at the regular part of The Breakers (around $2,100 per night).
