Most luxury cars have a touch of style about them, but when a French couture designer gets in on the action, you’re guaranteed a car with extra cachet. Baroque Ground takes a look at the bespoke Pagani Huayra that was recently created for a customer in collaboration with Hermès

Italian sports car manufacturers Pagani’s latest creation is extra-special and even more luxurious than ever. In a collaboration with prestigious fashion house Hermès, the super car firm has just created the most unique and stylish version of the Pagani Huayra for a client. The two got together to design the seats, the H-pattern outer aeration grills in iconic Hermès leather as well as special travel bags to match the car’s style and power. But that’s not all. The famous French fashion label also designed a matching dark chocolate leather Birkin bag as part of the package!

This special edition Pagani Huayra was created to the specifications and requirements of entrepreneur Manny Khoshbin, who is an avid car aficionado and collector of specialist vehicles. The vehicle is fitted with a unique set of aerodynamics, exhaust, suspension and even a slightly larger set of wheels than other models. These are all part of the ‘bespoke Tempesta package’ created by Pagani for special clients.

In March this year at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, Pagani unveiled the latest version of the spectacular Huayra model, the Huayra BC, after the company’s first-ever customer in 1999, Benny Caiola, who bought the brand’s first model, the Zonda C12 after it was launched at that year’s Geneva Motor Show.

The bespoke vehicle features the brand’s signature Mercedes-AMG-sourced six-liter twin-turbo V12 engine that delivers 750 horsepower, a 7-speed automated ma ual transmission and electronic active differential.

This is not the only super car that Hermès has provided styling for. In the past it worked with Bugatti to create the Bugatti Veyron Hermès Edition, also offering bespoke interior and exterior touches.

The Pagani Huayra Hermès Edition incorporates the Hermès logo on the grille within a chrome finish. This grille is fitted to the front bumper, side vents and rear grille. Instead of the iconic Hermès pattern, the Hermès ‘H’ has been applied to the Veyron. The super car boasts a full leather steering wheel, leather gear lever tip, brake lever and interior vents, all upholstered to Hermès specifications.

The car’s exterior is dark brown carbon fiber weave with the Tempestra aerodynamic parts. Wheels are black and the brake calipers are gold. But it’s the finer touches that set this Hermès model apart. For instance, its side mirrors feature an Italian flag on the left and a French flag on the right. Unique finishing touches also include the Hermès leather interior.
