For 30 years they have ruled the roost when it comes to offering the ultimate luxury cruise. Now cruise company Seabourn is introducing their latest super cruise liner, Ovation, an intimate 300-suite vessel that offers every facility expected from much larger cruise liners, as well as absolute exclusivity.
The new vessel has a sleek white silhouette, reminiscent of a luxury private yacht. The interior is elegant and warm, luxurious and refined, created by internationally acclaimed master designer Adam D. Tihany. Accommodation on board is spacious, with all suites facing the ocean, and private verandahs to catch the stunning sea views. The interior is designed with meticulous attention to luxurious details, offering guests every possible comfort.
Dining on board Seabourn Ovation is a gourmet affair, with a choice of five restaurants offering different menus. Select from fine dining to casual dinners by the poolside, or opt for delightful dinners in the privacy of your own suite, or on your private verandah. The restaurant, The Grill by Thomas Keller, is run by the famous Michelin-starred chef of the same name. The menu features classic American dishes that were stars in the ‘50s and ‘60s, with a contemporary touch. Highlights include steak, whole roasted chicken and Lobster Thermidor.
This extraordinary cruise liner features two outdoor swimming pools and six additional whirlpool spas, as well as an Observation Bar featuring 260-degree views, A Grand Salon show lounge, The Club for music and dancing, a topside Sun Terrace and The Retreat, which is a private enclave of fully furnished luxe cabanas for use during the day. Ovation also offers a fully equipped gym and salon with spectacular ocean views – and there’s a fold-out marina so that guests can enjoy various water sports in secluded coves on some of the planned itineraries.
Other facilities include an exclusive Spa and Wellness Center, a multimedia evening of delightful Broadway and West End compositions by Sir Tim Rice and a number of speakers to provide an enrichment series. In addition, nightly entertainment includes all sorts of productions and events including shows, piano music, an orchestra to dance to, cabaret and classical recitals.
