Boasting two special colour and trim combo’s, an excellent sports exhaust system and special track-oriented Yokohama tyres, these limited edition hand-built roadsters come in a choice of two special color and trim selections. The roadsters are proudly Morgan in design, but also manage to possess some of the award-winning London dealership’s cars. Morgan Motors is located in the heart of South Kensington in London, and offers an exceptional showroom that not only displays classic Morgan cars and lifestyle accessories but also hosts exciting tours and events.
The special limited edition Roadsters were built by Morgan in the brand’s factory in Malvern Link in Worcestershire.
There’s plenty to love about in this exceptional new limited edition model. For starters, its 3.7-liter engine is from the Ford Mustang Cyclone, so it’s extremely powerful, fast and smooth. In fact, the cars can reach 60mph from standstill in 5.5 seconds and have a top speed of 140mph.
We’re not saying that the Mustang engine has been tamed; on the contrary. Depending on the driver, the engine’s performance can be upgraded to give even more ‘vroom’.
Weighing in at just 950kg (that’s around 2,094 pounds), the roadster’s power/weight ratio is roughly 300 bhp (horsepower) per tonne.
The London Morgan Roadster, or LMV6, is available in a choice of striking color ways – Jaguar Opalescent Blue or a chic Porsche Crayon Grey. Each exterior color way has a carefully designed palette to match in the car’s interior. The Jaguar Opalescent Blue Roadster has a bold black contrasting band with a matching black steering wheel, leather interior and a mohair hood. The LMV6 painted in Porsche Crayon Grey features a beautiful walnut wood trim and luxurious mulberry leather interior.
Both cars offer sports seats, red Morgan Aero Racing brake calipers, braided engine hoses, Cibié Oscar spot lamps and Morgan’s signature hood that is impressively easy to put up and down. There are numerous other exceptional specs including a black carpet trim, graphite-colored split-rim wheels and LMV6 embroidered head rests on the seats.
With a price tag of approximately $93,000, the LMV6 Roadsters are something to covet, especially as Christmas looms.
