Watch out for the superb Levante Trofeo V8 at the 89th edition of the Geneva Motor Show that runs until 17 March 2019! Baroque Ground takes a look at this Italian masterpiece

Maserati is certainly showing off its prowess at the Geneva Motor Show, which runs until 17 March 2019. The Italian luxury auto brand will display its entire MY19 at the show Range (2019 vehicles), as well as the Launch Edition of the extraordinary Levante Trofeo V8. This exceptional SUV’s Launch Edition is limited to only 100 units.

Another highlight at the Maserati stand will be the MY19 range’s new interiors, created in PELLETESSUTA™, an exclusive new material made exclusively by Italian men’s luxury clothing designer and manufacturer Ermenegildo Zegna for Maserati. In addition, Maserati will also showcase a GranTurismo MC (Maserati Corse) featuring an exterior in Grigio Lava Matt color and carbon fiber interiors – another first. Another highlight will be an exciting one-off model Maserati, bespoke for a privileged customer that shows the luxury auto brand’s innovation when it comes to creating customized automobiles.

The new Maserati Levante Trofeo Launch Edition will be available in three unique paint colors – Blu Emozione Matte (blue), Giallo Modenese (yellow) and Rosso Magma (red). Its interior features sports seats created from premium full-grain ‘Pieno Fiore’ natural leather with contrasting stitching and a ‘Trofeo’ logo embroidered on the headrest. The bumpers, side skirts and specially designed bonnet are all exclusive carbon fiber inserts, and owners can choose from 22-inch Orione alloy wheel rims in either matt or glossy black finishes. Brake calipers are available in silver, blue, yellow or red.

The Limited Edition Maserati boasts one of the most powerful engines ever fitted in a Maserati road car – a 3.8-litre Twin Turbo V8 designed by Ferrari and calibrated to work perfectly with the car’s Q4 Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system. There’s an 8-speed ZF automatic gearbox, which is versatile and sporty, plus an Integrated Vehicle Control (IVC) system that delivers impressive driving dynamics. The car can reach 100km from standstill in 4.1 seconds and its maximum speed is around 300km per hour.

A price for the new limited edition Maserati has not yet been disclosed, but it’s expected that the brand will reveal this at the Show. So if you’re going to be in Geneva any time until 17 March, make sure to visit the Geneva Motor Show, head for the Maserati stand and view their new magnificent Limited Edition – it’s a beautiful beast.
