Visiting New Yotk City? Your pooch can enjoy the same luxury as you! Baroque Lifestyle has all the details

If you’re planning to travel to New York City this festive season, why not take your four-legged friend with you and let your pet enjoy the stunning Pampered Pooch Package available at the five star LOTTE New York Palace? That way, the canine in your life can enjoy the same level of luxury as you.

Let’s start with the luxury on offer to humans at this legendary luxury hotel, which was recently refurbished and is now the pride of Madison Avenue, a modern gem in Midtown Manhattan. Offering more than 900 rooms and suites including 176 exclusive Towers Accommodations, a selection of unique dining options, including Pomme Palais, which offers imaginative breakfasts as well as stunning sandwiches and pastries. Part of the hotel is the legendary Villard Mansion which was erected in 1882 and is an NYC landmark. The charming Madison Avenue Courtyard offers a dramatic entrance into the hotel’s grand lobby area.

Let’s get down to the pooch part of the equation… Of course, your pampered pet enjoys all the same luxuries as you do, with the added benefit of having personalized food and water bowls, which you can take home as a memento of your stay. There is a special room service menu for your pet, which includes a selection of refined food and drink options that will make every tail wag with appreciation, not to mention culinary treats at turndown every night.

The hotel has also collaborated with innovative dog walking service Wag!, so exercise is included in the pampering. A 30-minute Wag! Walk is complimentary, but if your pooch prefers a longer stroll, an hour-long walk can be arranged for an extra $10. The walkers offer a selection of different routes all specially designed for hotel pups and pooches. Festive itineraries include a holiday walk to the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, a stylish strut down Fifth or Madison Avenues or a stroll through Central park.

To make their walks even more enjoyable, pooches receive a brand new leash and luxe dog bed from the company Found My Animal, a New York based pet accessory retailer that promotes animal welfare and adoption.

Why such special attention to dogs, you may ask? The answer is simple. Pooches are deeply rooted in the hotel’s past. Former owner of the hotel, Leona Helmsley, dubbed “The Queen of the Palace Hotel” named the hotel bar after her beloved dog, Trouble. The dog may be long gone, but the bar’s name, Trouble’s Trust, remains.

The story goes that when she died, her trusty pooch inherited millions of dollars – in fact, he became the richest dog in the world. No wonder the hotel regards dogs with such high esteem.

If you’d like to book your stay at the LOTTE New York Palace at any other time of the year, without  your pampered pet, contact us to make all your reservations and travel arrangements.
