Next time you’re headed for India, don’t forget to stop over at one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, and certainly the country’s most plush: the St Regis Mumbai

You’ll find India’s most luxurious hotel in Mumbai, the country’s business capital. Unlike most luxury hotels in India, the opulent St Regis Mumbai is not located in a grand, old palace. Instead, it’s situated in the heart of the city, in Lower Parel in what is arguably the tallest hotel tower in the country – originally the Palladium, it boasts just under 40 storeys. It offers a choice of 395 luxurious guest rooms, including 27 suites and 39 Residential Suites.

Those who choose to stay at St Regis Dubai enjoy all the facilities expected of a superlative hotel including the services of a 24-hour personal St Regis Butler, something the hotel brand is famous for. Of course, the hotel’s location is excellent. It’s situated near the Gateway of India Monument, which makes it ideal located for both business and pleasure. Lower Parel is a commercial and entertainment hub and also offers superb shopping opportunities.

Views from the hotel are exceptional and the offerings are quite superb, including gourmet dining, both local and international. St Regis Dubai offers Indian, Japanese, Pan Asian and European dishes in a choice of four exceptional restaurants including the award-winning modern Japanese establishment Yuuka, Worli, Seven Kitchens and By the Mekong. The hotel also boasts the highest bar and nightclub in the country. In fact there are three nightlife destinations: Li Bai, EXO and Asilo, all located on the Penthouse floors, levels 37 and 38.

The hotel features an entire floor for wellness where guests enjoy every possible health and wellness offering. There’s an athletic club, outdoor pool overlooking the city, spa and beauty salon for pampering. Of course, accommodation is very plush: sheets are 300-thread count Egyptian cotton, the en-suite bathroom is marble and there’s a 40-inch LED TV for entertainment, not to mention a fully stocked refreshment center.
