The most exclusive dining experience is now available, in Mexico, at the newly opened W Punta de Mita on the Mexican Riviera. Baroque Access has all the details

 Mesa1

Mesa1

The brand new W Punta de Mita in Mexico boasts a one-of-a-kind restaurant called Mesa1, which is likely to be called ‘the most exclusive restaurant in the world’. This unique establishment is located on a tiny island in the middle of a lake – and there is only one seating daily. Promising a gastronomic delight and a most unique dining experience, the restaurant is reached via stepping stones that are visible on the water, and that disappear once guests have arrived and have been seated.

 Living Room

The table is made from a huge tree trunk from a Parota tree found in the local forest. And the menu is something to remember forever. It’s a seven-course, customized tasting menu prepared by one of the hotel’s private chefs. Each course of the menu is prepared at the table especially for each guest. And no menu is ever the same, nor is any dish served twice at Mesa 1.

The restaurant is exclusively available through reservations, and one can book for up to 18 guests at a time to enjoy a unique hedonistic delight, a dining experience that will never be repeated.

 Spice Market

Spice Market

W Punta de Mita is an establishment that prides itself on its excellent food, dishes that appeal as much to the senses as one’s tastes. The hotel offers numerous restaurants for guests aside from the very special Mesa 1. One of these is the Spice Market, which specializes in Southeast Asian street food and offers an unforgettable culinary journey. With an exotic setting that reflects the tropical surroundings, Spice Market boasts a casual setting and offers hand-crafted cocktails to enjoy while savoring a variety of dishes to share.

 Chevycheria

Another restaurant at the hotel is Chevycheria, which is situated right on the beach near the pool. Here, guests enjoy ceviche washed down with craft beers served from a converted 1950s Chevvie 3800 truck. The menu features a variety of vibrant Latin American dishes comprising a combination of citrus and raw fish or seasoned seafood. The menu changes according to what is available at the morning market from the catch of the day.

 Venazu

Venazu

For traditional Mexican cuisine there’s Venazu, an all-day restaurant that is vibrant, unpretentious and colorful. And the Living Room offers laidback, indulgent fare.

The brand new hotel opened in August in Mexico. Boasting chic, innovative and colorful contemporary design and every possible luxury, it is a welcome addition to W Hotel’s around the world in exotic destinations such as Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, New York and Brisbane. Like the other hotels in the W chain, this one is uniquely inspired by its destination. Mexico itself is colorful and vibrant, and the hotel reflects this perfectly.
