The restaurant’s fine Mediterranean menu is served to a maximum of just 57 diners at a time who enjoy divine dishes created from the freshest ingredients. Designed by Hempel to resemble a magnificent old-fashioned steamer sailing up the Bosphorus, it’s a delightful place to enjoy an unforgettable meal. Next to the restaurant, the Chinese Room and Bar offers cocktails and fine wines in relaxed surroundings. The second restaurant, Blakes Below, offers a selection of Asian dishes in an exclusive and private setting. In addition there’s the beautiful courtyard area, created by British designer Matthew Williamson to resemble a birdcage. Here, cocktails are served amidst an explosion of greenery.
Each of the refurbished 45 guest rooms are individually decorated, inspired by far-off lands and furnished with an opulent blend of Eastern tones and textures. Sometimes daring, sometimes dramatic, the décor is very much part of the unique experience of staying at this exceptional hotel.
