This is the Shangri-la hotel brand’s fourth hotel in the city, but the first establishment with their new five-star Kerry Hotel brand, which first launched in both Shanghai and Beijing in 2011. The new hotel is ideally located near to the Tsim Sha Tsui East shopping area, and connects to the rest of Hong Kong via the new Whampoa MTR station close by or by taxi, limo or ferry.
The 16-storey urban resort boasts 546 guest rooms with designer interiors. The majority of the hotel’s various rooms and suites offer spectacular views of Victoria Harbor and the Hong Kong Island skyline through floor to ceiling windows. The Kerry Hotel features four excellent restaurants, including Rumsey Rock for all-day dining that features nine different kitchens serving a selection of cuisines, Merchants, a restaurant and bar serving modern Cantonese dishes and featuring live DJ’s and the Shelter Lobby Lounge that will offer Hong Kong-style fare and cocktails served indoors or on the outdoor terrace with its pretty harbor views.
