In a world swiftly turning electric, Lamborghini has chosen to thrill the purists once again. The iconic Italian marque has just unveiled the Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo, a non-hybrid, track-focused beast designed to redefine customer racing when it debuts in 2027.

This all-new Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo will be powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine delivering a commanding 641 horsepower, paired with a six-speed sequential manual transmission that sends power exclusively to the rear wheels. The result? A raw, visceral driving experience reminiscent of Lamborghini’s most celebrated eras.
A Tribute to Pure Performance

Unveiled at the Misano World Circuit in Italy, the Temerario Super Trofeo marks the next chapter in Lamborghini’s racing legacy. Following in the tire tracks of the Huracán Super Trofeo, this newcomer is built for the brand’s loyal customer racers — drivers who live for precision, adrenaline, and speed.
“Lamborghini was not born as a racing brand, yet our customers have constantly asked us for a product designed for the track,” said Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Lamborghini. “Super Trofeo and customer racing have become a true pillar of our long-term company strategy, strengthening the bond between the brand and its most passionate clients.”
Born for the Track

The Temerario Super Trofeo is a sibling to the recently introduced Temerario GT3, sharing the same powerhouse twin-turbo V8 engine and gearbox. But this new Super Trofeo version takes performance further, shedding hundreds of pounds compared to its hybrid street-legal counterpart. Every element — from its aerodynamic silhouette to its minimalist racing cockpit — serves one purpose: unfiltered track dominance.
Although Lamborghini has yet to confirm pricing, estimates place it near $400,000, excluding support packages. For seasoned racers and collectors, the Super Trofeo represents not just a car, but a turnkey experience of Italian engineering excellence.
Continuing a Racing Legacy

The Super Trofeo lineage traces back to 2009 with the Gallardo Super Trofeo, followed by successive evolutions through the Huracán era. Now, the Temerario continues this proud tradition — with over 563 races and 1,383 drivers having competed in Lamborghini’s global racing series.
With its bold design, non-hybrid purity, and advanced tech, the Lamborghini Temerario Super Trofeo signals a daring statement from Sant’Agata Bolognese — that the soul of racing still burns bright.
