Looking for the pinnacle of luxury in New York City? Baroque Travel has found it for you! It’s the lavish London Penthouse at The London NYC…
Two stories of sumptuousness stretching over 2,500 square feet of space that make up the top two floors of the tallest luxury hotel in the city… now that’s what we call luxury! When you stay at this magnificent penthouse, you’ll enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views of Manhattan on three sides, including the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge and lush Central Park, not to mention the awe-inspiring beauty of the Manhattan skyline from dawn to dusk and into the night.
Of course, the facilities on offer at this prestigious duplex penthouse are as magnificent as the view. Interior designer David Collins paid meticulous attention to detail when he created this serene, sophisticated, sumptuous space, which includes expansive open plan living areas on the 53rd floor and a dramatic staircase leading upstairs. The open living areas take up 1,200 square feet of luxury and include a dining, living and entertainment space that is noteworthy, as well as a full service kitchen where Gordon Ramsay’s culinary team prepares gourmet feasts. With Ramsay’s famous restaurant MAZE by Gordon Ramsay and The London Bar within the hotel itself, guests have the choice of dining in private or in the restaurant.
Upstairs one finds just two bedrooms – a guest suite as well as a spacious master bedroom, accommodating a maximum of five guests. The master bedroom offers every luxury, from a king-size four poster bed to a private dressing room and sumptuous bathroom with spectacular city views. The guest room is smaller, but equally luxe, featuring the same custom mosaic tiles, heated floor and towel racks, oversized showers and large bathtubs as those found in the master suite. Furnishings are plush and bespoke, including Filli D’Oro Italian linen and hand-woven throws. Of course, wireless Internet access and iHome iPod docking stations are standard, as is the use of flat-screen LCD TVs. In the living area, a marble gas fireplace takes center stage along with the 60-inch plasma TV screen and state-of-the-art entertainment system.
