This exciting tennis tournament takes place in London from 16 to 22 November and is the final event of the season. It features the best men’s singles players and doubles teams on the 2015 ATP World Tour. This year marks the tournament’s 46th edition.
The eight qualifying male players will be split into two groups of four each, and will compete in a round-robin format on indoor hard courts, which involves each player competing against all the other players in their group. The doubles competition uses the identical format. All singles matches are the best of three tie-break sets, including the final. All doubles matches are two sets and a Match Tie-break. The exciting showdown features only the best eight qualified singles players and doubles teams. This looks as if it will provide a thrilling climax to the ATP World tour season.
Last year’s tournament was a record-breaking event, with more than 260,000 people attending, the largest crowd in the tournament’s history. And that’s not counting 101 million TV viewers from all over the world! This year’s prestigious ATP World Tour Finals offers $7 million in prize money.
