Passion for tennis at Wimbledon

It’s time to book your tickets to London to enjoy Wimbledon’s second week and the finals on 10 July! Let Baroque Travel arrange everything for you

Everybody’s talking about Wimbledon right now; the excitement of this prestigious tennis tournament is in full throttle. The tournament, which kicked off on 27 June and goes through until 10 July, is about to enter its second week, and this is when the excitement heats up, and we find out whether defending champion Novak Djokovic can do it again for a second time, or whether there will be a new champ come the finals. On the female side of the draw, Serena Williams is still a favorite, especially after walking away with her 21st Grand Slam at Wimbledon last year.

Whoever is the winner walks away with even more prize money than 2015’s £26.75 million (more than $35.5 million!). This year the winner will take home an even bigger sum in the region of £28.1m (around $37 million), while the champions of the Men’s and Women’s singles will earn a princely £2m ($2.65 million) each from the All England Club.

For those of you who aren’t planning to head for the UK to watch this legendary tournament, Wimbledon 2016 is being aired on TV. But whether you’re watching from your sofa or are heading for London to watch the second week of play, here’s a program schedule listed below.
