Founded by Alamo Drafthouse visionary Tim League, Metro offers 20 private screening suites that hold 4 to 20 guests. Each suite is designed like a personal theater — complete with reclining loveseats, immersive surround sound, and oversized screens.
“You’re not just booking a seat — you’re booking the entire room,” League explains. And at Metro Cinema NYC, that room comes with next-level comfort, bespoke service, and a film experience curated just for you.
Gourmet Menus Inspired by the Movies
Chef Joshua Guarneri has crafted family-style menus that pair perfectly with what’s on screen. Watching Downton Abbey? Expect classic afternoon tea. Screening Goodfellas? Italian favorites like cannelloni and charcuterie are on the table. From Planes, Trains and Automobiles to rotating blockbusters and cult classics, every detail is tailored.
Add to that an impressive menu of cocktails, mocktails, and curated wines — all delivered by their signature “ninja service” so you’re never interrupted.
Luxury at a Price Point
Renting a suite starts at $200 for four people for four hours. A 12-seat suite? $600. Food and drinks are extra, but they elevate the experience. Want to screen something that’s not in the lineup? Metro can source it for a fee.
