Follow the stars to these fabulous LA hotels at Oscar time…

 The Four Seasons

Apparently most of the Oscar nominees stay here, so if you’re in the mood for star watching, or just wanted to be treated like a star, the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills is the place to stay. Apparently, rooms are very in demand on Oscar weekend and the hotel only takes reservations once the nominees have been announced. So we can’t promise you’ll be able to book yourself a room come Oscar weekend. But it’s well worth a try.

 Beverly Hills Hotel

This iconic hotel celebrates its centenary in 2015. Aside from being a popular hangout for stars before, during and after the Oscars, the hotel is also the location for the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s Night Before the Oscars fundraiser before the big night. Last year, the hotel opened two brand new Presidential Suites (asking $15,000 per night). So it’s very likely you’ll have a number of celebrities as fellow guests if you choose to stay here.

Bel Air

A recent two-year restoration costing in the region of $100 million has restored this iconic property to its former glory. In addition, a Wolfgang Puck restaurant has opened here, as well as a state-of-the-art spa and 12 brand new suites overlooking the Canyon. Long a favorite with the rich and famous, the Art Deco Bel Air has hosted the likes of Liz Taylor, Howard Hughes, and, more recently, Jennifer Aniston, Tom Ford and Sean Penn. The hotel is also the location for Vanity Fair’s annual Oscar A-list after party.

 Chateau Marmont

This boho establishment is very busy during Oscar season and many parties are held here before, during and after the big event. Well worth staying here if you’re in the mood for lots of fun.

 Peninsula Beverly Hills

To ensure it all the limos can come and go as they please on Oscar weekend, the hotel gets special permission from the city to block off parking in four surrounding streets. The hotel completed a $20 million refresh mere weeks ago, upping its already perfect reputation. A great place to stay, and to visit at Oscar time –if you can find parking!
