With interiors created by Swedish designer Magnus Ehrland who was inspired by local history and Moorish tradition, the hotel’s design pays homage to the history of this area, called La Calatrava, which is still home to ancient Arab baths and a former Muslim fortress, La Almudaina, that was subsequently transformed into a royal palace.
The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring the Mallorca’s historic sights – it’s set on the city’s former defence walls, with breathtaking views overlooking Palma Bay.
