A Milestone for Fiji’s Luxury Landscape
Marriott International has signed an agreement with Luxurious Resort (Fiji) to bring The Ritz-Carlton brand to Fiji, marking a significant expansion of its portfolio in the South Pacific. This will be the group’s most luxurious property on Fiji’s main island of Viti Levu, joining five other Marriott-managed resorts across the islands.
Occupying a 28-hectare beachfront site just over an hour from Nadi International Airport (NAN), the new-build property will set a new benchmark for hospitality on the Coral Coast.
Design Rooted in Fijian Heritage
The Ritz-Carlton Fiji, Namuka Bay will blend the brand’s signature contemporary elegance with design elements that reflect Fijian culture and heritage. Of its 249 accommodations, 166 will be guest rooms and suites—many with panoramic ocean views—while 83 private villas will offer plunge pools, decks, and open-air living spaces. The showpiece 480sqm Presidential Villa will feature a private pool, expansive balcony, and yoga lounge.
