Every September the Principality of Monaco hosts one of the world’s most popular events in the yachting social calendar – the Monaco Yacht Show where super yachts and mega yachts are launched and viewed by an elite clientele. Baroque Yachts has all the details

The Monaco Yacht Show is the most unique super yacht event in the world, an opportunity for international super yacht owners and manufacturers to get together and view an outstanding fleet of 120 custom-made luxury yachts that are the best in their class. Ranging from 25 to 100 meters in length, these sumptuous, exclusive vessels are launched to the world in one of the most glamorous settings.

The Yacht Show includes around 500 luxury yacht companies that are leaders in their field. This includes those who build these super and mega vessels, brokerage houses, yacht designers, nautical suppliers, refit shipyards, luxury manufacturers and service providers as well as tenders and yachting foundations and associations.

More than 34,000 visitors from around the world attend this exclusive show, which is held at Monaco’s iconic Port Hercules. And for four glorious days, the Principality becomes the hub for everything dealing with super yachts with hundreds of different events on the yachts as well as at the exhibition and in many of Monaco’s prestigious luxe hotels.

This year, the 25th Monaco Yacht Show takes place from 23rd to 26th September in Monaco with His Serene Highness Prince Albert of Monaco as its host. The event takes place daily from 10am to 6.30pm. The main entrance is the Quai Antoine 1er, and other entrances are found at Quai Louis II and Parvis Piscine.

Monaco itself is the epitome of the luxury lifestyle and has always been a popular destination for the rich and famous. Apart from its ideal setting in the heart of the Cote d’Azur, Monaco is synonymous with glamor and elegance.

The Principality is also a popular destination for super yachts from all over the world. Port Hercule, its iconic and expansive marina, which is located in the heart of Monaco, is home to some of the largest and most luxurious super yachts from every world destination. And every September, it’s also a thriving hub for all the latest vessels that have just been created. The port has become known as a ‘yachting mecca’, as it’s the place where the global super yacht community including brokers and designers, gather to see what is new and innovative in the world of mega yachts.

Of course, Monaco’s beauty is another big plus, and a reason that people return here every year. It’s one of the most sought-after destinations for a luxury vacation, and those who own a super yacht, or rent one, return time and again to enjoy the sun-soaked coastline of Monaco and the South of France.
