Everybody is getting ready for the bi-annual fashion event of the season, the fabulous New York Fashion Week, offering a glimpse at the very best designs for Fall/Winter 2016. Baroque Access finds out all about it
Ready, set go! It’s time for Manhattan to be filled with fashion bloggers, on trend stylists, designers, fashion media and the rest of us who are waiting with baited breath to see what’s in store for Fall/Winter 2016. Baroque Travel has all the details of all the shows, and here we feature a highlight of what’s showing in February 2016.
A sidenote…. Fashion Week may be about to change
Last week, top US designer Tom Ford opted out of New York Fashion Week at the last minute to follow what seems to be the latest Fashion Week trend, a possible way of the future. What does this mean? It means that future Fashion Weeks around the world will feature clothes for that particular season just as they are about to be available in store.
So this month’s New York Fashion Week may be one of the last times you will be able to view fashion trends ahead of time, to enjoy a preview of the styles that will be worn next season. It’s likely that fashion weeks going forward will be named for the month in which the shows are held. So Spring/Summer2017 will possibly only be held in Spring/Summer next year, and not six months prior. This begs the question – how will the transformation take place, and what will be showing at Fashion Weeks around the world in September 2016? Watch this space to find out!
