Currently under construction and due to be opened at the beginning of 2018 is Four Seasons’ latest offering, a lush resort in Napa Valley, California which will boast its very own vineyard and fully operation winery. Baroque Travel has all the details
Luxury resort and hotel group Four Seasons boasts plush establishments all over the world. And its latest offering, which will open in early 2018, is no exception. The Four Seasons resort currently being erected in California’s Napa Valley will not only be exceptionally luxurious, it will also produce a limited collection of wines in its very own winery, under the direction of renowned winemaker Thomas Brown.
The resort, which will be situated in Calistoga, in the northern part of the spectacular Napa Valley, is a joint venture between Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Bald Mountain Development. Of course, it will feature every possible luxury in its 85 guest rooms as well as 20 private residence villas. These one- and two-story luxury residence villas will offer multiple master suites, a wine cellar and magnificently appointed indoor and outdoor dining and entertainment areas.
Those who decide to purchase a private residence will still be able to utilize all the facilities at the resort, which is going to offer three restaurants and bars, a number of swimming pools, modern gym and a superlative spa that will feature the natural geothermal waters unique to the Calistoga area.
The vineyard will apparently be hand-farmed, and the winery will offer guests and private residents a unique grape-to-glass experience, who will be able to purchase the limited collection of wines produced on site.
Of course, Napa Valley is an exceptional location for a luxury resort, and with Four Seasons involved in the collaboration, the establishment will be the first of its kind in the region. Designed to blend indoor and outdoor living, the new resort will also feature an event barn and various meeting and event spaces.
The wine tasting experience is an iconic part of visiting the famous Napa Valley. But that’s just part of the charm of enjoying a getaway to this popular destination. The scenery is quite spectacular and the weather is excellent. The new Four Seasons resort will nestle in the beautiful valleys and mountains in the small village of Calistoga, which is famous for its hot springs and the geyser called ‘Little Old Faithful’.
