For more than a century and a half, iconic French design house Louis Vuitton has created numerous products that have been sought-after over the years, and its exquisite Tambour Blue watch is one of these. The timepiece, which first launched in 2002, has just been released in a new, more modern iteration that offers a choice of highly contrasting brushed and polished metal finishes. It has a deep blue colored dial and is marked with the brand’s distinctive back ‘V’.
A signature of the new Louis Vuitton timepiece is the date indicator, which is located between the fourth and fifth hour market on the right-hand-side of the dial. In addition, the dial has a black alligator and calf bi-material strap with special blue highlights.
The dial is also topped with reflection-proof sapphire glass so that reading the time is comfortable at any time of the day. Other features include an ETA 2894.2 movement, water-resistance up to 100 meters and a 42-hour power reserve, making it ideal for sports and adventures.
The brand new 2016 Louis Vuitton Tambour Blue chronograph should be in stores worldwide hopefully by the end of April 2016. It is expected to retail in the region of $7,700.
