One of the top boat shows in the US, the 32nd annual Palm Beach International Boat Show takes place this month, featuring over $1.2 billion worth of yachts and accessories from leading international manufacturers. Baroque Yachts has all the details
The Palm Beach International Boat Show includes every type of vessel imaginable, from inflatables only 8 feet long to super yachts spanning 300 feet. Aside from the wide variety of vessels on display, there are also luxury pre-owned yachts, displays of the latest electronics and accessories, exotic cars and much more. This exciting annual show also offers numerous fun activities, some educational. Visitors can enjoy everything from free fishing clinics to seminars on sport fishing, on-the-water handling sessions and clinics covering long-distance cruising.
The show’s world-famous floating cocktail lounges are always a highlight, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy live music and refreshments. Those guests who arrive at the show by boat are offered free docks to tie up their vessels.
A number of special events will take place at this year’s show. Here is a look at some of them:
AquaZone: This attraction by Nautical Ventures includes constant daily demos such as live paddle boarding, Hobie kayaks, hovercrafts, life rafts, VersaDock modular docking systems and much more within a vast tented pool.
CruiserPort: A designated area that promotes the cruising lifestyle. It offers free boating activities taught by industry professionals.
Fishing Clinics: On Saturday and Sunday 25 & 26 March at 12 noon and 2pm, there will be free fishing clinics for children in the Ampitheater Field. Presented by Hook the Future and The Palm Beach Post, these clinics offer basic fishing techniques for children aged 4 to 16 taught by marine life experts.
Sports Fishing Seminars: Located at the Meyer Ampitheater Field, the 14 free IGFA School of Sports Fishing Seminars feature some of South Florida’s best captains explaining these fine techniques including on- and off-shore sports fishing skills, sure to be popular with all keen anglers.
