A best-kept secret that opened in 2017, Six Senses Zil Pasyon is located on the tiny island of Félicité in the Seychelles. Baroque Travel finds out what makes it so special.
There are 115 islands in the Seychelles archipelago, each with its own special charm. The island of Félicité is a private island with massive granite rocks and stunning coral-fringed white sand beaches. It’s close enough to nearby La Digue, Grande Soeur, Petite Soeur, Coco and Marianne islands, which means that if you’re staying there, you can island-hop and explore them, too.
The magnificent Six Senses Zil Pasyon is the only resort on the island. It offers just 30 one-bedroomed pool villas, and three and four-bedroomed residences, all overlooking the azure Indian Ocean, and featuring private 20m infinity pools as well as access to the three private white sand beaches.
Every villa has a dining and a seating area, flat-screen TV, fridge, coffee machine, private bathroom with bath and bidet, bathrobes, slippers and luxurious toiletries.
The resort is extremely eco-conscious, and boasts a reverse osmosis plant and crystal water refinery that removes the necessity for plastic bottles. It also boasts an organic garden and chicken farm, creating a self-sustained food environment that is supplemented by produce from surrounding islands.
Guests who visit this idyllic little paradise can immerse themselves in nature, swim with the turtles and enjoy a private, secluded retreat that offers every possible comfort. Dining is a pleasure, with a choice of restaurants and bars serving Seychellois cuisine, as well as international flavours.
There is so much to do at Zil Pasyon. Varied activities include a choice of water sports such as snorkelling and wind surfing as well as beach activities. Scuba diving and excursions to discover nature are also offered. There is a main swimming pool, plus an excellent spa offering exceptional sensory experiences in five double treatment villas. The spa includes an elevated saltwater pool with sundeck plus a yoga and meditation pavilion. Treatments include signature therapies plus Six Senses Integrated Wellness. The resort also boasts a fitness centre, and free WiFi is offered throughout the property.
Guests are transferred to and from the resort by boat from either La Digue or Praslin islands.
The Seychelles is a stunning island destination offering luxurious resorts, the utmost privacy and excellent facilities. This little slice of paradise on its own tiny island is no exception.
