Baroque Yachts gets ready for the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show, an annual exhibit of more than 125 super and mega yachts from the most respected shipyards around the world
The Monaco Yacht Show has become one of the leading super and mega yacht events on the yachting calendar for both buyers and the yachting industry. Taking place as it does every year in Port Hercules in the principality of Monaco, it is known for featuring extraordinary yachts on display for sale as well as on display for the world to see.
The MYS, as it’s called, represents the pinnacle of luxury and is the ultimate showcase for industry influencers from the world’s most reputable yacht builders, award-winning yacht designers, luxury suppliers and influential brokerage companies. Visitors also get to view a selection of sought-after water toys, prestige cars, helicopters and private jets.
The highlights of the Monaco Yacht Show include the MYS Inaugural Gala Event, which will be held on Tuesday 24 September this year. The event hosts 350 privileged guests as well as the social elite of the yachting fraternity, VIP guests of the Monaco Yacht Show as well as CEOs of the show’s luxury partners plus decision-makers in the super yacht business and influential media.
The event also features the 6th Monaco Yacht Show Superyacht Awards – the ceremony will distinguish luxury yachts that will be making their world debuts at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show.Four super yachts that will be on display at the Monaco Yacht Show will be awarded in the following categories: the MYS/Rina Award, the MYS Interior Design Award, The MYS Exterior Design Award and the MYS Finest New Superyacht Award. The winning yachts will be chosen by an esteemed and eclectic jury of yachting journalists.
Another important event at the Monaco Yacht Show is the Monaco Yacht Summit 2019, an event that has been held for the past four years that aims to inform and educate yachting clients in a relaxed, welcoming environment. The Summit invites qualified individuals, their representatives, family offices and private investors to attend and enjoy a series of informative panel discussions held with experts in the luxury yachting industry. It is intended for potential customers and people who wish to charter super yachts.
