Baroque Yachts has all the details of the annual Super yacht Rendezvous Montenegro 2015, which was completed on 4 July
At the beginning of July to celebrate the start of summer, super yacht owners from all over the world congregated on the spectacular Montenegro coastline to socialize and trade notes. The event, which is the first of its kind to be held on this breathtaking stretch of coast, was presented by Boat International, who plans to make it as popular as its sister event, the famous annual Rendezvous Monaco which is organized by Yacht Club Monaco.
The first-ever Montenegro event was open to yachts 30 meters long and over, including sailboats. The launch started on 2 July at Porto Montenegro, and ended on Saturday, 4 July. It kicked off with an exciting party at the exquisite Lido Mar Pool Club in Montenegro.
On Thursday 2 July, those participating in the Rendezvous adventure enjoyed a delicious Embraer Executive Jets Lunch. For this event, super yacht owners and their guests were escorted to a magnificent restaurant with spectacular sea views and savoured exquisite local seafood dishes. That evening they enjoyed a drinks reception on Porto Montenegro’s Jetty One, as well as a Cocktail competition.
The following day, guests visited the spectacular Bay of Kotor, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They were treated to a private tour of Our Lady of the Rocks, a small, man-made isle that boasts a beautiful 17th Century church. Lunch was served at a charming little restaurant located on the grounds of an historic 18th Century flourmill that overlooks the beautiful Bay of Kotor.
On Saturday 4 July, guests had a variety of exciting experiences to choose from including hiking in the hills, being pampered at a spa resort, or enjoying another culinary treat. In the evening, they enjoyed the Super yacht Rendezvous Party at Porto Montenegro Yacht Club, the perfect ending to an exciting yachting experience.
