The city of London has a brand new hotel, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square. Baroque Travel finds out all about the Four Seasons group’s latest London establishment
Located in an historic Grade 2-listed building in the center of the city of London, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square comprises a brand new luxury hotel as well as a prestigious private members club, the Ten Trinity Square Private Club, as well as 41 exquisite private residences. In its heyday, Ten Trinity Square was home to the London Port Authority and also hosted the United Nations. And it’s been featured in a James Bond Film. Now this exquisite building has been transformed into a luxury hotel by the Four Seasons group.
Located right next to the Tower of London and close to Tower Bridge, the hotel is close to some of London’s best markets as well as a plethora of arts and cultural sites. It’s also become a great new dining and drinking destination with a selection of excellent restaurants and bars including the Rotunda, which features a spectacular setting and an impressive bar. Then there’s La Dame de Pic, which offers exceptional haute cuisine prepared by acclaimed French chef Anne-Sophie Pic, whose skills have awarded her three Michelin stars. A third restaurant, an Asian establishment, is due to open shortly, featuring both Chinese and Japanese dishes as well as a sushi bar.
The hotel also offers an exceptional spa, with eight treatment rooms and a team of expert therapists who are trained in advanced technologies as well as traditional practices. The spa complex features a vitality pool, steam and sauna rooms, a 14-meter indoor pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center that is open 24 hours a day.
There are 100 spacious guestrooms in all, decorated in a classical style and featuring en suite private bathrooms and spectacular city views. Facilities in the rooms include 24-hour in-room dining, a flat-screen TV and iPad access to the hotel’s various leisure and business services.
The 41 elegant residences range in size from one to five-bedroom units and are designed in the 1920s style when the building was first built. These are available for sale.
The opening of this hotel marks the first time in two decades that this exceptional building will be open to the public. It is the third British establishment to be opened by the Four Seasons Group. The Four Seasons group of hotels and resorts also owns the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and a stunning country establishment, the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire.
