Nobu Hotel Marbella opens its doors in Spring 2018. Baroque Travel finds out all about this adults-only exclusive resort, set to be the ultimate Spanish escape
While Marbella took a back seat to some other locations on the Costa del Sol, all of this changed when Nobu came to town, the first Nobu Restaurant to open in Spain and now a brand new hotel as well. Marbella is now returning to the limelight as the place to see and be seen all summer long. Aside from the exceptional restaurant and the new Nobu Hotel opening in Puerto Banus, Marbella also has a new Gourmet Food Market and several new beach clubs.
The location for the hotel couldn’t be better. It’s set in the popular Plaza Village in the middle of Puerto Banus, serving its signature dishes such as Black Cod Miso, Yellowtail Jalapeño and Tiradito. The cuisine is a fusion of Japanese and Peruvian, and there are also new creations based on the local cuisine and Spanish culture. In addition, guests enjoy some of Nobu’s famous cocktails while relaxing on the Nobu Bar and terrace next to the restaurant.
Located directly on Marbella’s legendary ‘Golden Mile’, the Nobu Hotel Marbella is the ideal setting for a stylish, fun vacation. With a high-spirited atmosphere, superb dining options and an on-trend location, the new hotel is sophisticated, seductive and fun. Guests enjoy VIP access to Marbella’s chicest nightclub, as well as their own private members club, access to exquisite sand beaches, and a level of exclusivity, glamor and luxury found nowhere else.
The hotel’s interiors are elegant, decorated in a rich, natural palette with Nobu’s exclusive signature bedding, spacious and stylish en suite bathrooms and state-of-the-art entertainment systems. Their motto: “We merely set the stage. You choreograph the memories”.
The second resort to be opened by Nobu in Spain (the first opened in Ibiza in 2017), the new resort offers a selection of chic guest rooms and suites overlooking the vibrant Andalusian Plaza. It boasts a rooftop swimming pool, private beach, spa, fitness center, tennis and numerous activities including exclusive access to the hottest nightclub on the Costa del Sol, La Suite.
This extraordinary resort comes alive at night, when guests can enjoy dining at the hotel’s Nobu Restaurant and lounge, which, incidentally, opened before the hotel, as well as at the nightclub on the premises. Guests, of course, enjoy priority access to the restaurant and its adjacent terrace lounge area. In addition, there’s a 24-hour special menu from Nobu Matsuhisa in-room dining.
During the day, a stay at this new hotel is also a dream vacation come true, with Marbella’s endless stretches of white sand beaches, the clear blue sea and an abundance of culture.
