Taking its rightful place on the dynamic Las Vegas Strip in 2019 will be a brand new Waldorf Astoria, a member of Hilton Hotels’ iconic luxury brand. Baroque Travel finds out all the details

The brand Waldorf Astoria is renowned for its exclusivity, glamour, luxury and cachet. And finally Las Vegas will be home to one of these extraordinary establishments. In 2019, Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas Hotel & Residences will take over the Mandarin Oriental and open its doors, a magnificent transformation into a one-of-a-kind hotel on the Strip, with reimagined newly styled rooms and redesigned public areas. Operated by Hilton Management Services, the new hotel will be located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, close to world-class shopping and entertainment and right next to the 20,000-seat T-Mobile Arena.

The 389 guest rooms and 225 Residences at this brand new exclusive Waldorf Astoria establishment will be sophisticated, glamorous and chic and offer every possible luxury facility. Accommodation includes 55 suites and three expansive Presidential Suites, offering the ultimate experience in a sumptuous, non-gaming, non-smoking environment. In the next 18 months while the establishment is being created, more and more luxury details will become apparent. Rooms, suites and residences will all be contemporary in design, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering spectacular panoramic views of The Strip and the surrounding desert. Delightful extras will include a discreet valet closet, so that deliveries can be discreet and non-disruptive.

Famous Michelin-star rated Chef Pierre Gagnaire will show his incredible artistry in the award-winning restaurant, Twist, which will open in the hotel, offering inspired dishes paired with superb wines, not to mention exhilarating views. This will be the first-ever American restaurant to serve the chef’s legendary interpretation of classic French cuisine. On the 23rd floor, the SkyBar will bring a distinctive sophistication that perfectly matches the cocktail collection handcrafted by master mixologists. There will also be a legendary Tea Lounge offering three different seatings for Afternoon Tea – a combination of the finest tea blends and sweet delicacies that will be unmatched.

Other luxury facilities at the new Waldorf Astoria will include a 27,000 square foot Spa that takes up two floors and provides a serene environment in which to pamper the body and re-engage the senses. Experiences will be tailored to guests’ personal requests and requirements. The Waldorf Astoria Spa will include seven private couples’ suites, a Hammam, Zen Foot Spa and more, offering the ultimate pampering experience in a tranquil and luxurious environment.

The Pool Deck will be located on the 8th floor, offering a chic respite from the bustle of the city below with breath-taking views, two swimming pools, a plunge pool and two whirlpools. Poolside cabanas are on offer so that guests can enjoy a secluded, exclusive experience.

We are certainly looking forward to the Waldorf Astoria Experience when it is transported to Las Vegas next year. See you there!
