Following the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, Nikki Beach in St Barth has just reopened for a full season. Baroque Access finds out all the details
Finally, popular Nikki Beach in St Barth has been restored to its former glory, thanks to full-scale efforts by locals and staff. Guests will once again be able to sit and gaze out over the sea, sample the brand’s stunning dishes, music, entertainment, fashion and lifestyle. The newly renovated property reopened on 26 October, and is waiting to welcome visitors from all over the world.
For years, Nikki Beach has been synonymous with all things glamorous. It’s the place to see and be seen when you’re in St Barth. And the gourmet dining is as legendary as the cocktails on order and the signature entertainment. For the coming season, the transformed Nikki Beach St Barth boasts a freshly built outdoor restaurant, bar, kitchen, rotisserie and boutique. The newly refurbished property boasts Nikki Beach’s signature style with inviting white wooden accents and open-air spaces for relaxing and enjoying the sea breeze.
The establishment’s new menu is globally-inspired, with an extensive selection of exquisitely presented dishes that are both healthy and delicious. Nikki Beach’s signature sushi boats, truffle pizza, chicken satay and tartars are still featured alongside other innovative gourmet dishes. Guests will be able to enjoy the brand’s legendary Amazing Sundays once again – and the iconic New Year’s Eve Bash to welcome in 2019 is likely to be more star-studded and more exciting than ever.
With a setting that is center stage on magnificent Saint-Jean beach, this luxury haven for the world’s stars and celebrities has made its name for bringing fun, sophistication and excitement to St Barth. The plush all-white sun beds are still there, along with chic drapery. The newly renovated 3,175 square foot location includes a stunning central square-shaped bar, a main dining area, sushi bar and the signature large teepee.
Happily, most of the staff will be returning to the new property. DJ’s Jerome Barthelemy, Patris Gero and Philippe Paris will spin their music and saxophonist Jimmy Sax will enchant with his own brand of music. Nikki Beach St Barth is open daily for lunch from 11.30am to 7pm. Dinghy and valet services are available.
It’s best to make reservations in advance when visiting Nikki Beach, so make sure to do so when you book your next trip to the Caribbean.
